Coin of the Year (COTY) 年度硬幣大奬

有留意外國錢幣的網友應該會聽過 Coin of the Year 這個大獎。這個由美國 Krause Publications 主辦的獎項，每年都按幾個大項選出該項最佳硬幣，2013 年度的提名名單是 2011年推出的各種硬幣，2013年1月在德國柏林公佈得獎名單。奬項如下：

在以上的項目中，我個人特別留意其中兩項，其中一樣當是是 Best Silver Coin 了。其次就是硬幣的藝術設計，因為我視其中一部份的銀幣為藝術品，當然要看其藝術價值。我 highlight 了幾個香港網友可能曾經注意到的銀幣。
