Description
Snow White is the kind and caring leading character of the first Disney animated feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She is forced to flee the castle from her evil stepmother, the Queen, and finds her way to the dwarfs’ cottage. Making herself at home there, she settles in. But even there she is not safe, for the Queen transforms into a witch and offers the trusting girl an apple steeped in ‘deep sleep’, until true love’s kiss from her loving Prince awakens her.

The reverse of the coin features Princess Snow White in colour surrounded by engraved flowers. The design includes the inscription ‘Disney Snow White’.
Issued as legal tender of the Pacific isle of Niue, the obverse of the coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, and the 2015 year-date.
