Cats make wonderfully loyal and loving companions, both for their owners and for one another. As cats are family-orientated creatures, their best friends are usually other members of their litter, with whom they share a special bond.
The coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2oz of 99.9% pure silver.
The coin’s reverse depicts a coloured representation of a grey kitten and a ginger coloured kitten, sitting side by side in a field of flowers with a butterfly flying through the air. The design also includes the inscription ‘Always Together’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu and features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, and the 2015 year-date on its obverse.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 7,500 of the Always Together 2015 1/2oz Silver Proof Coin.
Displayed in a classic presentation case, the coin is delivered in a delightful, coloured shipper with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
