Description

The silver collector coin open the numismatic series “Continents”.

On the reverse side of the coin there are presented six of the most distinctive and recognizable buildings from different historical periods and regions of the “Old Continent”: Tower Bridge in London, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the High Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Mary in Cologne, the Cathedral of St. Vasily the Blessed in Moscow, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Colosseum in Rome and the Parthenon in Athens.

On the obverse – common for all coins in the series attributes associated with geography, travel and discoveries – a globe, a telescope and a map – are depicted.

Each coin is packaged in a cardboard case with decorative wrapper designed especially for this product. Each of them is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity that guarantees the highest quality and craftsmanship of the Mint of Poland.

In addition, every gold coin is individually numbered on the edge, consistently with the number on the certificate.

The second coin in the series “Asia” will be issued in the second half of 2013.
