“Birth of Venus“ – a painting by Sandro Botticelli, were created in 1486. The work shows the scene of the birth of the Roman goddess of love – Venus. In the right part of the image is Hora – one of the goddesses of the seasons. On the left side are visible as two Zefirów, directing the blows towards the shore shell on which Venus stands. The image carries a lot of symbolic elements alluding to ancient mythology. Currently, the work of “Birth of Venus” is in the collection of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
