This coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality.

The coin’s reverse depicts a colour image of Snugglepot & Cuddlepie sitting on a tree branch, surrounded by gumnuts and gum leaves, with Little Ragged Blossom between them. The design includes the inscription MAY GIBBS SNUGGLEPOT & CUDDLEPIE™, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, and the 2015 year-date on the obverse.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the Snugglepot & Cuddlepie™ 2015 1/2oz Silver Coloured Coin.

The coin is housed in an elaborate themed gift card, with room to write the baby’s details, a family tree and a place to house a photograph.
