Description
This three-coin set of 1/5oz pure gold coins celebrates the Year of the Horse. Believed to be the most free spirited of the twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac, those born under its influence are said to be friendly and open-minded.
Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1/5oz of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality.
The reverse of each coin depicts a caricature of a horse and the Chinese character for either ‘Fu’, ‘Lu’ or ‘Shou’ meaning ‘prosperity’, ‘success’ and ‘longevity’ respectively. The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark is also included in the reverse design of each release.
Each coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.
No more than 2,000 of these 2014 Year of the Horse ‘Prosperity’, ‘Longevity’ and ‘Success’ Three-Coin Sets will be released.
The three-coin set is housed in a black and timber-inspired display case and customised shipper.
Each set is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
